He Rested on the Seventh Day

December 5, 2010.  Sunday.
Situation:  Work all day today.  Listen to John Cage’s “Works for Prepared Piano” on the way home.  When I arrive, though Mway meets me in the driveway, it’s dark and the path would be too perilous to venture upon.  No walk for her from me today.

Chapter 7

Gurgling, growling, gurgling, growling, gastrointestinally. Geology geography gumtrees give ground – galvanized garrison, glinting geodelike. Grasping gun, giant G.I. grimaces, gruesome glue-eyes glaring.
“Go. Go. Get. Get.”
Granya Gea-Tellus glowers.
“Glass godsakes!”
Gogo gazes groundward.
“Gin godotsakes!”
God’s greatest gift grovels. G.I. gawks, gauges, grins.
“Glass.”
Gadgets grind, graphpaper glides, gauges gather geometrical good guesses. Geigercounters, gyroscopes, gravimeters, gerbilepens, guineapig grottoes, genealogy-files, gook-profiles, graffitoed grenadeboxes. Grable grips gargantuan godzillas.
Garrulous Generals, gathering gossip Granya glad, gather. General Gall gives gaspers, Gauloises. Generals gossiping, giggling, goblets glowing. Group grows, God’s greatest gift growling gregariously, ginsoaked Gogo gazing groundward. General Gall goggles Granya, goldteeth gnashing, ganders gam.
Granya goes gloomy.
“Greta Garbot, Greer Garson, greater.”
“Greater?” General Gall gloats, grabs gam.
Granya grimaces. God’s greatest gift gnaws General Gall.
“Goddamn! Get goddamn god! Goddamn god ! Get!”
G.I.’s gather, grapple God’s greatest gift. G.G.G. gets going, gets ‘gainst Gogo’s galoshes.
General Gall grumbles.
